1st Racewalking Australia Challenge, 10 July 2004

The Inaugural Racewalking Australia Challenge was held on Saturday 10 July 2004. Each member walking club raced the following fixture of events over its own designated course in its own State or Territory. Results were then sent to Mark Donahoo who collated and calculated the winning club which was the Victorian Race Walking Club. The Challenge Shield will now be held by VRWC until our next challenge event is organised.

Point scoring was as follows: Points are awarded within each race to each competitor (1 point for first). The points from the fastest competitor from each club in each race will be added and the club with the lowest point declared the winner. If a club fails to have a competitor finish in any category, that club will be awarded the same points as the highest scoring competitor.
